Christopher Richards, a native of Maine, was fortunate to grow up in a hunting family, deeply rooted in both his maternal and paternal lineages. A devoted Christian, husband, and father of two daughters, his passion for guiding and moose hunting was nurtured from a young age under the mentorship of his father “Wild Bill” and late Uncle John.

With over a decade of guiding experience, Chris joined Team OMM in 2020, bringing his commitment to excellence. He emphasizes “making every second count,” leaving no stone unturned to ensure hunters have a fruitful experience. He holds degrees in Biology and Business Administration, pursuing a Ph.D. His favorite rifle caliber is the 375 Holland & Holland Magnum. Chris’s top recommendation for moose hunting is thorough preparation, investing in quality gear, practicing shooting techniques, and prioritizing personal health and fitness for long-term benefits beyond the hunt. His favorite quote is John 3:16.
